I came across a thread recently where someone purchased splash guard/skit (not sure of the official name) that fit in the front wheel wells and block dirt from entering the engine bay. Now I am unable to locate the thread to determine who the vendor was that the poster purchased them from...

The ones that aren't missing on my cruiser are sagging and I was interested in purchasing some.... any help is appreciated.

Thanks -

Thanks Matt - would you happen to know the part name/description... I searched Specter before posting and was unable to find it.

Doh! nevermind... keyword 'mud' instead of 'splash'. I found them, thanks again!

Here's a thread where someone traced the seal/skirt, scanned it and attached the drawings. Print out the attachements and piece them together. Then get your own rubber and make your own. I did this on mine and it worked out OK. My only recommendation is to double check the location of the holes for the plastic rivets/bolts. On mine one was a little off.

Good idea... the links are dead though.

Using semi truck mud flaps sounds like a good idea (read it in the link provided). I have the front seal on one side and the read on the other so I should be able to use those to create templates for both sides.

I am going to try the mud flap route... thanks for the info 2mbb.

Find them at L&L Land cruisers online. Set with clips for 100 with shipping, takes 2 weeks, good quality.
I did everything by email and paid via paypal.
