2010 GX-460 base with navigation and the usb port in the center console.
I have a bunch of CD's that have been converted to MP3 flies but when I plug it into the usb port and go to the usb function in the audio screen it says that there are no files to be located.

I can plug that same thumb drive into my computer and it works just fine. Please help I have a 12 hour drive coming up and would like to use this usb function.

Are the files on a MP3 player or thumb drive? I don't think it can read a thumb drive but the mp3 player should play through it.

took it to the dealership. they took my thumb drive and pulled the mp3 files off and put it onto a lexus thumb drive and they work now. Not sure why it would not work with mine. oh well. it will not hold as many songs as mine would have but they are playing and i can add files to the lexus thumb drive and it works so i am happy.
