upper steering column wiggle - FIXED!

was fixing horn (worn contact pin) with a 22 casing and traced and fixed slight upper column wiggle. The cast section (where ignition switch goes in) is held in the front by 2 nuts and one guide pin. On my rig ('87 BJ74 RHD JDM) the two nuts were ever so slightly loose - tightening them removed the wiggle. YES!!!

I had a similar problem with mine, except one of the pins was broken! Just finished swapping in a new column, much better now.
