Upcoming TLCA Election

On December 18th at 8pm CST, TLCA will have its annual election.
Only half the executive board gets elected each year. So, whoever wins gets to do the job for two years.

Here's the rundown for this year...

President - Justin Ward or Jeff Zepp
Admin VP - Nick Stone or David Harrison
Marketing & Sales VP - Mark Van Meter or Art Schramm
Treasurer - Casey Campbell
Central & Mountain IR - Justin Ward or Jeff Zepp

The other elected officers don't come due til next year. Art Schramm will continue as Secretary if he wins the MSVP spot. Mark Van Meter will drop his Webmaster contract if he wins the MSVP spot.

I hope y'all will vote for Justin, Mark, and me.

I think it is by our TLCA delegate (Justin Ward). BTW, Justin and/or Nick and/or Jason: do I need to be on that phone call to vote and releive Justin from the duty?

Well, that sounded wierd but it turns out you're right. I looked up the bylaws and each chapter gets a vote and the TLCA officers get one vote each. I guess if you're a member of TLCA but not in a chapter you don't get a say. Interesting.

So do we need to do some kind of LSLC vote or something?

Lone Star has always left the voting decision up to the delegate. In this case, our delegate is a candidate. He can certainly vote for himself; but, speaking from experience, it sure warms my heart if someone else does the voting. The TLCA meeting falls on our December meeting (Dec 18th), so it may be inconvenient. Please get someone to monitor that call. Doc, I send you the numbers on a PM.

I will be there. Justin, I will let you represent us for all other business and step in for the election, or I can represent us for the entire call - your choice.

Jason, I think the Eastern and Western Independent Reps speak for the TLCA members not represented by a local chapter, but your right - not much of a voice if your not a member of a local chapter.

now, if it should come to pass that i somehow get the nod, you will become the new rep, or we will have to appoint someone to continue in that roll.
