Well it's that time again, I thought I would post this up here since I only have a fraction of the members actual email addresses. So with that said, its coming up on that time of the month.

Last month's meeting and I was glad to meet a couple guys I had not met before. We had the Meeting at Fuddruckers by 410 and Broadway. Decent food, parking seemed a little limited by what I could tell but large seating area.

For those that attended, is this a location you all might be interested in again for this upcoming meeting or do you prefer goin somewhere else?

I won't be at the meeting myself as I will be out of state for 2 weeks for work.

Anyways please feel free to suggestions.... Hope everyone is doing well!

That's cool. I'm thinking about going down to the valley to pick up a set of super cheap forged Weld wheels off an FJ Cruiser. Only downside is they're chrome.

looks like just a couple are going again. If you don't change the time of the week, location, atmosphere etc you going to get the same results. Austin is doing cruisers and coffee modeled after the sports car meeting meeting that is early saturdays and they're having great turnouts.

Why not try something like this, aren't most people free sat morning?

I think the sat. morning idea has merit. Would you even show up though?

Mornings are tough on Sats... I guess if it was, say brunch-type or even lunch... it could be doable.
iHops would be out - they get slammed in the mornings.... maybe a local dinner?
Anyways, it would be cool to see our rigs in the daylight!

I'm usually free sat mornings so I would make it even if it wasn't in the cruiser. Gas is just horrendous but it needs to be driven.
Nathan im thinking it does not need to be at a restaurant, just a large parking lot with a place to meet for a bit. If u want food just pick it up and bring it. The meets always end up in a parking lot anyways.

I agree with most of you. I like the idea of a cruisers and coffee morning. Saturday mornings I believe would work best for most, and it would be nice to see the cruisers in daylight. How many people would like to see the meeting changed to a Saturday morning, possibly at a coffee shop or something along those lines? If there is enough people that feel like Saturday mornings would work best, I say let's change it to that...

I like the morning coffee idea for a change of pace. I will have Saturdays off for the next 6 weeks but otherwise only Sundays.

Mornings work for me as well since Im on nights. Any ideas on places we could go?

The cars and coffee crowd uses a Panera Bread on the northside due to large parking lot.

Well I'm not too familiar with very many places here in san Antonio, so anyone please feel free to suggest a local spot such as panera or other...

Panera is functional..
large parking lot, no one to piss off
coffee and breakfast available
used to people meeting there anyway

may be too far for some though.?

Most Starbucks are stand alone shops or at a large parking lot of a shopping area.
Too bad you guys are not near New Braunfels.
There are two coffee places that are private and are in great areas.
one down town at the circle and the other just 1/2 mile from our home.
