Unsubscribe from emailed URL not working. (1 Viewer)

Here's another bug for you. This started yesterday. I have my subscriptions set to instant email. If I click on the unsubscribe URL in my email message, I get an invalid thread error.

log into that specific thread and try un-subscribing that way...not from the User CP and not from the email message

WOAH NELLY! Can of worms time! If I click on the "Thread Tools" tab, instead of the list of choices, I get sent to the bottom of the same page!

Unsubscribing from the User CP works fine...

Unsubscribing from the list at the bottom of the page works fine...OK, I get it, the list of Thread Tools is displaying down there instead of just under the "Thread Tools" link at the top, and that is why I'm getting sent down there when I click on "Thread Tools". That's kind of annoying...

The same thing is happening with Search this Thread, Rate this Thread, and Display Modes - I get sent to the bottom of the page and all of them appear down there. I don't like it. I like the pull down menus better...

none of that happens for me...it has to be something with how your system/browser is interpreting the commands....

I've got another fix I can implement...unfortunately, it's easily a 6 hour process, and it'll be at least a week before I'll have 6 uninterrupted hours to do it....

best part is, the forum may need to be down for that entire time....

none of that happens for me...it has to be something with how your system/browser is interpreting the commands....

I've been using the same version of this browser for months and have never seen these problems before...just in the last few days...

btw: Safari 2.0.4 under Mac OS 10.4.7



WTF?!! OK now the smilies don't work. If I click on a smiley I just lose the cursor, as if I clicked on open background space.

I fixed it. I switched my editor choice from WYSIWYG to Standard and the unsubscribe URLs and the pull down menus and the smileys all work now, as before. WYSIWYG never worked quite right with Safari, but this is the first time it caused something to break...
