Looking for Christmas gift ideas? Cool! I'm looking for people to buy my stuff! :D

I participate in medieval reenactment events rennessance fairs etc. As part of this I handmake both medieval and artsy leather drinking vessels.

They are completely handmade, waterproof, and quite durable. I start with the finest tooling leather available, even if the piece isn't going to have any tooling. Each piece is hand cut, dyed, stitched and formed. The leather is hardened using an ancient process called Cuir Bouilli. The result is a vessel that is very rigid, almost like plastic or wood. They are then waterproofed outside with beeswax and inside with a food safe resin.

My customers use them for everything from once a year reenactment events to daily coffee habbits.

The medieval styled vessels are loosly modeled on those found in Tudor England (AD 1500) and earlier Scandinavia. The artsy pieces are my own creative expression.

Prices start at $29 for a simple cup with a wooden bottom. Most small to medium sized vessels are $49. Larger vessels and those with hand tooled designs are more. I also do a variety of custom work. Prices do not include shipping. Major credit cards, paypal, check or money order accepted.

It takes 2-4 weeks for me to make a vessel so if you are thinking about a Christmas gift, please order now.

Thanks. The pieces in those pics represent well over 100 hours of work and considerable material expense.
