Hello everyone. so I was in the process of cleaning the engine bay and noticed a unattached wire, I actually have never noticed this wire and wondering if anyone knows what this is for?

What truck?
What motor?

Looks like the venerable 2LTE engine... there are many un-used wires in Toyotas due to optional equipment that does not appear in all markets.

Better hook that up before she blows.:D:D Looks like the same connector that I unplugged from my a/c clutch.

Take care

well crap I am an idiot. I totally forgot to put what engine it was. ahaha

Don't beat yourself up. Admitting you own a 2L-TE is like going to an AA meeting and admitting your an alcoholic for the first time.:)..............1978HJ45

Does your engine bay also have this wire unconnected?

Does your engine bay also have this wire unconnected?

I will check later this morning and get back with you. If the wire is associated with the A/C I would say mine is connected because my A/C functions normally. .........1978HJ45

Did not see any extra wires so if its there it is connected. Is your A/C functional? ...............1978HJ45
