Just got hit with my first 'consolidation' part last week. Installed new manifold studs from stock on @SW20 's cylinder head. The replacements from Mr. T are longer, and have an unthreaded tip like the 08042 carburetor studs.

Since Mr. T only thinks of these as being used for the two center positions, I can see where they wouldn't see the problem. But since I routinely change out all the manifold bolts for studs (less likelihood of stripped/cross-threaded holes in the cylinder head) this complicates installs in engine bays with tight clearances.

A few odds and ends related to the windshield washer. There are several segment of washer hoses. The segments under the hood are larger in diameter than the one running through the glove compartment. The thinner one is harder to find:

Here are some connectors that let you transition from a larger diameter hose to the smaller diameter hose:

Here is the other type of connector, found under the hood, which lets you connect 2 hoses of equal diameter (both are of the larger diameter type):

The reason I'm showing these part numbers is because when you look in the parts catalog, it's difficult to tell from the drawing what's the difference between these connectors.

Nice. The first part is still available from Toyota in the US market since it is a generic part applicable to many vehicles over the years.

Internal air cleaner gaskets (top and bottom) for 69 - 75 F engines and 78 - 80 B engines.

Yeppers, good old trusty 24 volt system....far far superior to those lesser 12 volt systems....;)

Onur the lights for the rig can all be 12 volt units, just need to run 24volt bulbs..

Sadly the plastic vents on the roof are no longer available along with that nice front floor mats, I think Land Pimp (John) purchased the last one ten years ago, he claimed the rubber to be thicker.

Are the inner and outer (lower and upper?) transfer case boots for an '83 40 the same as a 60 series or just singular freaks?
