I have been noticing that the forum's servers are running slower these days. I am not sure if it is just higher traffic or a problem. Watch for "Down for Maintenance", I guess.

I have been seeing that page for some time now. Depends on the computer. If I use certain computers I never see it, on other computers it happens frequently.

Looking through older post shows that it has happened before, and it looks like it might have been and IE problem. I just switched to Firefox a few days ago because 'MUD was running so slow and it seemed to improve the forum loading speed significantly. However, now I get the "page not found" screen and the only way to view the forum is to hit the "stop loading page" icon right before each page finishes loading.

yea, i was fine as far as yesterday, just started happening this AM .
very annoying, i can hit escape right before the page is hijacked, but even thats getting old.
i hope it can be fixxed.
i guess we will see..........

firefox is the same...............:-(

It's a redirect error from one of the popup ads and should only be happening when you're not signed in.

The code says the ad is from: /eyewonder/interim.html?url=http://cdn.eyewonder.com/100125/766742/1417469/exp_Inc.js?interim=http%3A//forum.ih8mud.com/eyewonder/interim.html&clickTagFramePrepend=http%3A//ads.specificmedia.com/click/v%3D5%3Bm%3D2%3Bl%3D5272%3Bc%3D129376%3Bb%3D776406%3Bts%3D20110215121151%3Bdct%3D%5Bewclickthru%5D&iframeURL=http%3A//forum.ih8mud.com/&stime=1297789912032&cb=1297789912032&guid=zHbfGBCPwEaAQG2hU7h6ct

I broke the start of the code (http...ih8mud... so hopefully it shows above and included a screen shot for the mods if they see this thread).

it isn't necessarily an IE problem, it is a site problem. It happens every few pages even when I'm signed in and I use a different browser system.

Cache cleared, etc. It's up to Woody to fix this now.

Topic Reported, although like I said, they're likely aware of it.

at least the topic is finally in the Help forum, where I check first :)

Ad problem, sometimes an ad agency has a bug in their banner...will try and track down the specific problem and get it solved.

Info like Post 9 is VERY helpful, since I can't find something I can't recreate :)

I no longer seem to be having the problem. Thank you if its fixed. Otherwise I will nervously be searching the forum, expecting another "page not found" at any time.

thats my bad, i didnt kno there was a help forum, and when i tried to paste in the addy all i got was the page not found crap "header".

but thanks for everything, seems to be all better now......

Optima has been contacted, banner problem....they 'claim' to have fixed it, but the cache in the adserver may not have fully cleared for all users

I'm still getting both problems. I am signed in and running with Google Chrome. If I 'refresh' it either loads or does the same but eventually loads (after a few clicks of refresh).

Try clearing your cache.
