So I posted this amazing video in the 60 section also, but if you have any ideas what the knock/rattle sound is please take a guess. You only really hear it kick in @2500 rpm.

You still have the smog pump on?
My first thought was maybe a bearing on it's way out? You could pop a few belts off and see if it persists...
That or rod knock/valve clearances. Sounds like marbles are rolling around in there.

No you desmogged it 1-2 ago?
Will try and remove a the belts and see what happens ASAP.

Bring it by the shop. Pretty sure we can diagnose it quickly.
The inspiration for dumping the WJ for an FZJ came at 2am this morning. She and momma are healthy and happy.

Let's see some pics of the new princess!!! You will want her to drive a Land Cruiser! Guessing it will be a 100 or 200 series....my oldest had a 62 in HS and youngest is driving a '94 80 as a senior!
She is coming home in the 80 tomorrow. Still looking for a 100 or Sequoia to trade the minivan in on and planned to check one out today but she intervened. Sliding doors be damned.
