UK Topgear is the best....If they would replace Adam with Gabe the US topgear would be best

Tis the life. I'm sitting at Crawfords, having s Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA, and waiting for some folks to arrive to run Snowbird tomorrow.

noticed today that my drivers side rear brakes are leaking. Must need new cylinder in the back.

Is it a diesel??? Looks like it says "Turbo" on the rear quater

it is a turbo, inline 6, dual batteries, one is smaller then the other, steering wheel turns front wheels, rear axle has springs, front seats tilt back a little....

Very neat for $12 on Craigslist... after looking at Ebay, I did pretty good...

Hi-Story 1/43 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 LC80 Silver | eBay

David, I am proud to have 3 running cruisers in addition, in the next 10 days I will have a 55 frame and body, a running stock 78/55, 3 40 frames with bodies and misc parts.
I already have the 76 40 frame with no body and the 70 55 with no drive train...

That said, I am compiling lots of this for sale, and am keeping just a few......

:grinpimp:

It has to be a diesel then, it is a 24v system it sounds like, unless it has been modded for a dual battery setup....:D

Been watching UK for years, love it. The US version is much better this year than last. They struggled to play off each others comments without seaming scripted for most of the 1st season. Rememebr that the UK version has been together for a longggg time!

Roku

Any of ya have one? I am seriously considering dropping uverse and getting a Roku, I have acces to an antenna to put back on the house to get local channels. Other than not getting live sports it looks like a good system, guess I'll just have to go to the bar to watch sports.

If you have bandwidth to support a Roku you can probably just use your PC and run media center for the same functions with no extra money.

I am running hulu, etc on my stereo that has internet functions and HDMI outputs...nothing extra needed.

I have a WDTV box, very similar to the roku. We've been using it for about a year now. Been very happy with it and have only longed for is sports. There are ways to use ESPN3 to make it work, but the quality isn't the same. But for us the little box is a life saver, as there us always something good for the kids to watch.

That being said, I wouldn't buy a dedicated box. Almost every blu-ray player, tv, surround sound, etc nowadays comes with the netflix, hulu, pandora, youtube apps, so I'd go that way if I was you. Our dvd player is about to die now, so we'll probably get one with all the apps now. I might have my little box for sale in the next few weeks, if we can find the right replacement.

I have a roku. The best thing about it is Netflix streaming. The other available channels on roku are not that great. You wind up using your laptop/PC to setup a lot of stuff that you just can't do with the roku remote. Although the new version of roku has an updated remote (with gaming controls).

It's also pretty good for Pandora radio, but again you have to setup your channels on your PC. All you can do with the roku is select one of your already-created channels.

You can do Hulu Plus for an extra $8/month subscription and the same with Amazon Prime ($80/year) to get other TV series and movies. If I didn't currently have Directv, I'd go ahead and pay for both of those to fill out my viewing options.

But I can't get motorsports coverage with roku, hulu or amazon, so I'm sticking with cable for now.

I do Pandora, Hulu, Netflix, etc on the sony surround sound system I got for the living room as a gift from the wife a year ago. Was a good option if you are in the market for that.

went trout fishing with the little guy yesterday.

didn't catch any trout...but the horny head were biting.

The bridge we were fishing near was supposed to stock between 2-4pm but we never saw the truck.

was weird being in the mtns in march, wearing swim shorts and sweating!!!

My kid had a blast and i got to relax for the day....was a win win even if the trout were not biting!
