I would do that. Would even ship my truck out and fly as an option!

why fly when you can drive.... it is only 2,500 miles and 42 hours of driving, one way that is:eek:

Yeah. Ship your truck a week in advance, fly out and meet it, wheel for a solid week, meet the truck, ship it back, catch planes on either end. Yes please and thanks!

yes but the adventure is in the trip not the destination, I'll be driving to much epic scenery to miss out on. Plus I have some old shoes I need to get rid of and I have found the perfect place in Nevada :grinpimp:

it is toally worth it to get out from behind this damn computer and see the country, if I could I'd load up the cruiser and start driving and never stop

Man, there's a s***load of drug dealers in that area.

HEHE, that tree is located on the "loniest highway" highway 50 it is a two lane route that traverses Nevada East to West and goes through some of the most remote areas in the lower 48...... that tree was a pilgrimage for many along that route and had become world famous. Sadly some assholes cut it down this past year, guess they didn't like having all those drug dealers in the area :o

I drove that route when I was in my early 20's, by myself in my old toyota pickup.....the radio quit and I found myself talking to myself WAY too much. I started to entertain myself by picking out something in the distance and trying to guess how long it would take me to get there.

x2 on the road trips...I drove from Alabama to California/Nevada 3 times the year after I graduated college. Wish I could do it again. I wish I would have made the northern states.

Ain't gonna be a good east coast skiing season this year. This coming from someone who worked last 3 years on the patrol at Wolf Laurel (mountain). Our supervisor has cut staff by 50%, some of who are MD's... Not expecting a banner year, guess the Mayans might be right...

they mayans made that calender all those years ago just to help predict the snow on the slopes of the east coast!!!
