What's wind chill got to do with the 62? Oh and my buyer flaked on the rims so they're back up for sale.

Anyone know anything about ultrasonic cleaners? Not the small plastic ones either.

Have a friend who used to have a dental tool cleaning business, he used them all the time, nice commercial ones not the cheapo ones. He also used to spiff up our motorcycle carbs in it... Worked extremely good i'll say... Even got him to clean my watch once...

Bunch of piezo's bonded to a stainless pan?

Yeah but what kind of driver do they use? Which type of piezo's?

Anyway I've contacted my guy in China and seeing what I can get on the next shipment. Need something big enough to put a carb in. Couple gallons at least and 5 gallons would be really nice. I'm going to be rebuilding carbs and throttle bodies as another service for the southeast and need something easy and does a good job of cleaning things. Ultrasonic is the only way to go.

The guy in the shop next to me is in his mid 70's.

been doing carbs since he was a teenager and throttle bodies since they came out.

on all of his carbs he cleans them, soaks them overnight then bead blasts them then onto another cleaning and reassembly..

Briggs and Stratton has been trying to push their ultrasonic cleaners for years, i've used them at a buddies shop and i'm not impressed.

I have lots of uses for the bead blaster but not so much the ultrasonic cleaner.

after your done blasting them they look like new. Just need some clear paint to prevent any rust/corrosin.

Already have a bead blaster. I don't want to wait over night. Just want to soak 30 min and be ready to put it back together. Best thing is it doesn't ruin the finish and it will clean all those tiny ports that are very hard to reach.
