Are there any good U Pull It junk yards in the Charleston area? Back in Jacksonville, Fl there was some great ones and I would hit them up weekly. I'm looking for some seats and other interior items for my 4Runner projects.

Thanks

Steven

LKQ on rivers

LKQ is the only one around here. They charge $3.00 to go in, but they have a fairly good amount of different kind of cars. Ther're sorted as to Trucks and vans, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, and Imports.
They also supply wheelbarrows. Take something to lay on, the ground is covered with 2-3 inch rock.
Good lock. Prices are really good, though.

in ladson

don't remember the name but its in ladson on royle rd off of hwy 78

Did Livingstons on the upper part of Rivers become LKQ? There used to be another on Stokes Rd (I think thats the name)...right next to Trident on Rivers.

Thanks, I pass through Charleston every time I'm going back home and I would like to stop by one or two of the u pull its. Does anyone know which yard has the best prices and have a good selection of Toyota's, mainly 1st gen 4Runner's?

Steven

yeah the one in Ladson is awesome. I've gotten tons of rover and cruiser parts there. No FJ40s anymore but plenty of newer yotas. Auto Salvage Company , 230 Royle Road
Ladson, SC 29456. There's another one out there too while you're out there, just ask these guys and they'll point you to it.

Good luck,

Hunter

There was a thread about this in the UC section not long ago. There is one in COlumbia at the CIU exit on I20 and one in downtown area of Augusta. One in Augusta has an 80 right now. There is also an LKQ in Greenville. I havent been to it yet. I have not seem a 1st gen 4runner at Aug or Cola, check their web page though they list vehicles they have in stock. Pull-A-Part

I hope to eventually get some thirds for my truck from one of them, maybe sometime next year?
