Hey everyone...sorry I did not get a chance to see some of you at Tuttle, but William and I made it up by 9:30 and stayed until 4pm or so. We had a great time with a few people I had seen before, as well as a few new faces. I am soooooo bad with names, it is amazing that I sell anything....Anyway, I got a little impatient (BIG Surprise) and we about rolled the 60. William (4 years old) turns to me and said "hey..uh...dad...are we going to roll over?" I said "maybe" and then he looked right at me and said "mom is going to be really mad!" As far as wrenching goes, I would really like to start on a rear bumper and sliders for my 60. If someone could lead me in the right direction as far as a design, I will start gathering parts for a wrenching weekend in February.
Thanks

Hey craig I thought this might have been your handle... the people in the group that you wheeled with on that sat. morning were:

me: silver '60
charlie ("little red"): red '40
Lars (btcruiser): green(ish) '40
my bro mike: red yj
my dad john: brown/rust yj

Lars do you have the footage of craig's climb??

to give you some direction on trail armor I would start by checking out what 2badfjs is working on. I'm hearing that t-rech is brewing up something for his lx that maybe adptable for the '60.

Do you have the blue 60 that was at the Ashers? If so, your kid is awesome. "We're gonna drown!!"

Ya thats the kid. Justin (red 4runner) with Ethan the 2 yr old.

Yes, Will gets a bit excited  , but at Tuttle he never got worked up. He actually fell asleep going up that last slime covered hill. Pics or video would be great. Everytime I look, most of the stuff is of the "extreme" guys or I'm just not in the right spot at the right time. As far as the bumpers/sliders, I am trying to sell my 10" table saw and 1/2" router, so I can buy a nice MIG welder. I have a good torch set, and I think my father in law got me a chop saw at an auction, so all I need now is a good welder. I am dreaming of a plasma cutter, but I won't get too crazy yet.. Since Eric Butler got me into this, I have bought the 60, gears, lockers, H55, Wheels and tires....27'RV and a car trailer..Eric has only been out with me once! You guys are really expensive friends :)

I did get some footage of this particular event. The best part of it is seeing Craig on camera going "UH OH" All I have to say is Craigs the man!!!!!!!!

Try to post it, or mail me a copy. I'll pay for the tape and postage. Anyone going back to Tuttle any time soon?

Ha ha!
I was riding along with Craig at the Ashers for that, what a great time that was :D . One of the coolest kids in the Cruiser community that's for sure.

Sounds like he's getting more used to wheelin.
