I recently bought a 1993 80, I am currently building slider and a fab shop is building some tube rear bumperets for damage protection. What i am looking for are some pictures or design ideas for a DOM tube front bumper that has a which mount and slee shortbus tube design but with a little more stinger shape. Does anyone have any experiences or pictures of tube front bumper that they can show me, i have heard stinger type bumper on 80's does not look very good. I want it to be functional and look good b/c i plan on wheeling this whenever i get the chance.

FOR

The bumper half way down that thread, silver and what looks like FOR on it, who make it and does it have the ability to mount a winch?

Yeah i like Eric's bumper, i have seen him do some crazy things to that bumper and it has not given in. That is kinda i am starting with but with some more protection a little higher and a protected which platform.

Does Frankie's bumper sit a little low?

the bottom tubes of Frankie's bumper curve to protect alot of factory stuff.
I REALLY like it, but I was not afraid to cut.

Here's the REAL sad part about aurunner's 80 that he just bought.... the AC dryer was recently replaced along with the lines before he bought it.... too bad it wasn't relocated to inside the engine bay.

aurunner was with me last weekend when I landed on my bumper a few times, bumped it a few more and... due to it's departure angle, even missed a few large rocks all together.
(He was also at the bottom when I exploded my rear axle shaft and even there to help me fix it!).

There's no doubt that aurunner will take everything good about tubed bumpers and make a very sweet one to his liking.
