Due to being used mostly for work purposes, most 45 pickupthere have cracked, patched or mended frames. Finding one with a unmolested frame is rare.
Nice 45's are a hard find. I don't know if the La Nacion (biggest newspaper) has a website you can check classifieds, but I think the Tico Times (english) does.
In attempt to curtail rampant auto theft, a few years back strict laws were made that state that frame VIN #'s must match body VIN#'s must match title VIN numbers. I think engines too, but not sure on that. Frame swapping has been done on lots of these vehicles. The owners can't get title transfers done. So beware and check frame VIN's before handing any money over so you don't get stuck with a vehicle you can't get a title for and can't export. Also the numbers have to look exactly like the factory stampings. Some shody grinding off and restamping going on. That won't pass the inspection. Sellers will try to tell you anything, such as the vehicle was made before they started stamping frames, they have official autorized approvals etc. Don't believe someones word of mouth.
99% of the time people are trying to import cars into Costa Rica. It really dumbfounds most people there when you ask about exporting.
