Yeah i was gonna run down Berdoo canyon, but the thunderstorms were pretty bad on Saturday and the dirt roads were flooded out heading southward toward the guided tour area.... and we were alone .. so it's not the wisest choice. Also didn't want to run Dale solo either.

Ran Bradshaw last year. Probably going to head to Arizona to drive El Camino Del Diablo this year. But if you go let me know.. might be game for it.

what was the temp. like up there
 
Right now its 103-105. Only reason i went is because of the thunderstorms and the cloud cover. It made for very rare summer temps. About 80-85 degrees. Sunday started getting warmer out because the clouds moved out and by Monday the temps were already in the 90's in early AM. We were super lucky. I don't advise heading out there till at least end of the month and more towards October.

I live right at the base of the Mtns at Joshua Tree. Just below center in your picture from Keys View. I've run through that canyon at the base of KV.
