Trim/model help

Can someone help me understand why this 93 cruiser body style looks more boxy and how to search for similar? You can see some Japanese characters on the interior photos and it's RHD so I can deduce that much, but when I search for similar imports in that year they all look like the standard 80 series. Is this a special edition trim or something?

I haven't come across it before and I kind of dig it.

It's from a cargurus listing. Didn't want to post a link or anything because that feels like something that may be against rules, but there's nothing on the listing that helps me identify the trim differences.

This was a helpful education on engine numbers vs trim numbers.

Differentiating between J70, GX, VX, Prado, etc.

Apologies if this post is a bit broad or basic. I’m a personal owner of a 1990 SWB J70 and this forum has been extremely helpful. I am increasing my responsibilities at work which will involve purchasing of vehicles and I wanted to learn more. I work for a conservation organization in Tanzania...
