Ok....Hi all. Long time no talk... I have had lots of unusual tread wear over time on other cars, but it was all my lack of attention , etc.

I have been very careful about air pressure and rotation and allignment. About 6 months ago, my right front time started to wear on the outside half of the tire..The inside half is wearing evenly with the rest of the tires.

The allignment is good and the cruiser is not pulling in one direction.

What are your thoughts on this,,, some sort of suspension issue? The only changes I made this year was my new OEM shocks.:frown:

Either something with the tire or you have something shifting arround.. my guess would be a tie rod end or one of the trunion bearings... you didn't mention what kind of tires??....

Try jacking it up and moving it arround sometimes it takes a bar and some force to find out where the play is at depending on what is wrong, Good luck... ...

The only thing I could think of that Ray didn't mention already is perhaps the toe is off and perhaps too far in. Is it possible that both of the front tires are worn on the outside and not just the one? A stretch but that is all I can come up with. Sorry about the tire issues but good to hear from you. Good luck.

Thanks, guys.. Maybe the tie Rod, I think I have heard it make sounds on a couple of those wierd hard approach angles on some of the locals trails.. I will start here. At least I can proudly say it not the first time I have damaged components.... Can I be proud of this??

Or maybe it was that OCTA bus that hit me a few months back!
