Worth the cost?

Installation a bitch?

I hear it adds 11+ horses, helps with mpg's a bit, and keeps your engine cooler.

i could use some more power what with all the damn steel i've got hanging off this thing now.

???

Not worth it IMHO. installation is a 1  job

Adds HP, saves gas, cooler engine, ensures world peace...:hhmm:

The gains, if any, come from the filter flowing better, not the box. A drop-in, high flow filter will provide similar if not the same gains...

some trd air will void warrenty. toyota has places like k&n cold air make it for them.
i do say may ensure world peace. but you will c some but not a $hit load. but it is easy to instal.

Used on our Baja racer; it tended to let in a LOT of sand. YMMV.

i like my trd filter i have not noticed any change's except when you rump on it and it sounds awesome

70K and 3 years later, I wouldn't switch...........

x2, 2007 TRD SE-My TRD Cold Air Injection went on like a hot knife thru butter.
The box and cover keep the elements off the filter.
Everything fits perfectly and the fit and finish is still good 3 years and 70K later.
The sound when you get on it is very enhanced and you can really feel and hear the engine breathing better.
The TRD Cat back exhaust and TRD CAI really team up to make the FJ quicker and more responsive.
In normal driving this combo will yield improved MPG or enhanced performance - your choice.
97K on it now and I installed the TRD CAI at 27K and my only regret, is that I did not do it earlier.........gm
