If you aren't going to CM:
BTW, I heard there were 2 suggestions for OHV areas on the Forest, but I don't know the details. Apparently provided by two organized groups with detailed plans. We'll see if they go anywhere, but may make it worth attending the 3rd round of workshops in July/Aug.

SANTA FE NATIONAL FOREST TO HOST
TRAVEL MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP IN ALBUQUERQUE
(ALBUQUERQUE, NM)—The public is invited to participate in the last Phase 2 Travel Management Workshop on May 3rd in Albuquerque from 6 to 8 p.m. at the UNM Continuing Education Conference on 1634 University Blvd. NE.
During the workshop Forest Service staff will follow-up with interested citizens who submitted comments and who identified places of interest or concern on maps during previous meetings and workshops. All input received from the workshop will help to define future motorized vehicle use on the Santa Fe National Forest and will identify roads and trails where people can travel to recreate, camp, gather wood and hunt.
Since March 20th, Forest Service staff have visited 9 communities in or around the Forest to present analysis of comments received to date, including citizen proposals to designate or restrict access to specific Forest roads, trails and areas in the context of ecological, social, and economic sustainability.
