Jonheld shared this pic with me on a related post. I’ve been trying to trouble shoot my lockers and have been going down the list. When I came to testing the low range sensor I accidentally pulled the neutral position sw instead. So I benched tested it and I didn’t get any continuity on it in either position. My question is, what is that sensors really doing since I haven’t noticed it as being defective previously. Thanks

@sierra1boy , That sensor illuminates the dash AT/P indicator on the dash when the transmission is in Park and the transfer case in neutral. It a warning light is to warn you that the vehicle can roll. Normally the parking pawl in the transmission when it park keeps the vehicle from rolling.
