Tranny temp gauge

Has anyone come across a good fit for a tranny temp gauge for the FJ Cruiser? If so which one, and where did you mount it? How difficult was the install?

Sure you could just buy one at a local auto parts store. I recommend a transmission cooler along with that purchase. After burning up an automatic transmission on an earlier 4wd, I went manual and never looked back. In my opinion, automatics are too prone to failure under the harshest conditions where heat is a killer unless you really keep them cool and they have huge reservoirs for lots of fluid. Auxillary fans aren't a bad idea either.
