Did you get the ECU for the manual trans out of the donor truck?
Also specifically, what are you having issue with?

yes 5vz
double cab truck
no manual ecu
do i need to do anything with the 4x4 computer?
haven't started the electrical yet...still installing the transmission (waiting for bolts on order)
just looking for some "heads up" when i get there

I've read a few threads (mostly at other forums) that would be helpful to you.
I've read of people disabling something to do with the neutral safety switch and running the auto trans ecu w/ a manual swap.... sorry other than that don't have any specific info.

You will need to change the main computer if you go from auto to manual.

sorry you thought that was aimed at you (GOT@TACO) ...my brother wrote that not knowing he was logged on under my name...therefor he is the one with no hair on his nuts......

the electrical problem has been solved so if anyone in the future is perfoming this procedure let me know and i'll direct you the best i can!

Did you have a CEL? i know with out doing the ECU swap you still get a CEl but the truck still runs. I cant have a CEL if i do a swap and need to know if swaping the ECU will work.
