It seems like my tranny will need replaced soon in my 62. I want to go manual. H55f seems way over priced. What about a sm465 or np435?

For a street driver, I would prefer a quiet, fully syncroed H42 over a broad ratio truck transmission.

To get the crawl ratio, put a doubler behind it.
