Could someone post a pic of the shifter knob? It it a sideways l like the forty or is it straight front to back? Thanks-JJ

Should be the same as a 40. They use the same case.

Interesting.........

My t-case is in a line. Front to back is 2hi,n,4hi,4lo.

Is there any chance it's a Toyota case? What else will bolt up and keep the stock axles (side pumpkin)?

Can't find a mark on it anywhere. It appears to be a solid case with a "bell" on the back upper corner and a side plate right next to it (pto?). I'll have to hose it off in the morning.

Mine is different again

sorry about the poor quality pic, it was taken on my phone, but you'll get the idea ;)

Methinks you have a chevy case.

That sounds about right. Is the rear out put ofset to the right or is it centered?

Interesting, the way you describe it with the bell on the rear and the plate for the pto sounds like mine, which is a standard H55F four speed and transfer, maybe the linkages are somehow setup different??

Daniel.

This is correct for the pigs, if you do the shifter plate mod you will then have 2 lo in the missing arm of the H

The front driveline is in line with the rear; both offset to the passenger side.

Is there a chevy case that bolted up and allowed use of the toy axles?

Any case used would have to have the pasenger side offset because of the diff offset. Not sure if there is a chevy case like that, but if they wanted to use one, IIRC all that requires is changing the flange on the end of the shaft.

This will probly answer your question.

Do you have a parking brake assembly attached to the back of the case??? If so, Toy case, if not its some other kinda case.

Good luck,
Dan
