Hello all. I'm new here and have a question about wiring my utility trailer. Some mice got into my wiring and chewed it to shreds. One of the housings for my light was was already cracked, so I decided to just buy a wiring kit with all new lights. I had assumed it would be as easy as taking out the old lights and wiring them the same way as the old lights. However, the side marker lights are different.

The old lights had 'ports' that the wires went into. The brown wire was cut and each of the cut ends went into the ports to complete the circuit, which makes perfect sense to me. However, in the new lights, there is just a single black wire sticking out of the marker light. How do I go about wiring this?

Thank you in advance.

Never mind. I figured it out on my own. Thanks anyhow!
