Trailer hitch

I've seen a few threads on cruisers with trailer hitches, and the general consensus seemed to be that hitches weren't an option from the factory, but were often installed at dealerships

I bought my (very stock) 40 with a hitch already on it, and it looks like it has always been there. Can anyone verify that this was a dealer option and it factory?

How is that mounted on there? It looks like two hex bolts and two eyebolts, with the eyebolts spread outward.

Yeah, trailer hitches were not stock, that I know of.

ive had several with that hitch i think it was in the berens associates catolog from years ago.
