Anyone know iff the trail tems have anything on their trucks not stock? They look pretty normal to me. Are they sock tires? If not, what were the stock ones and why did they change?
I saw two of them, one was completely stock, POS tires and all. The other had the TRD wheels with BFG's, ARB bumper and Warn winch. That's it, pretty much stock.
The ones that wheel have ARB, warn, TRD rims and 32" tires, and a nice full underbody skid plating made by TLC in California...so basically, they can wheel the crap out of them!
We spent 2 days with the Central team last weekend. To elaborate slightly on the above posts.
Their FJ Cruisers are stock vehicles with ARB front bumper, winch, & belly pans. They have a lot of optional equipment including TRD wheels, BFG A/T tyres, trailer hitch, auto, rear locker, roof rack, rock rails, etc. They carry the normal recovery gear like a Hi-Lift & straps, plus the things we like to have for camping and wheeling like the ARB fridge, CB, air compressor so they are loaded like we would have them for a weekend of fun on the trails.
The important thing is they are not lifted and have no suspension or engine mods. In fact, they have *less* clearance than a stock FJ Cruiser because of the added weight they carry (ARB, winch, & skids)
