This is probably a dumb question, but I would still like to confirm the answer. With the Trail Tailor soft shackle recovery points, there's no issue using them with traditional steel shackles is there? I get that the radius on the eyelet is needed to keep from cutting the soft shackles, but there's nothing bad that will happen with the reverse scenario, right? Would I risk damaging the recovery point which would then cause damage during subsequent soft shackle use?

You can use a steel shackle in the soft shackle. However, if the steel pin scars the ID of the soft shackle hole it needs to be filed or sanded smooth or more than likely the scaring will damage a soft shackle on the next use.

Thank you! That was my guess, but I wanted to make sure before I place my order. Much appreciated!
