Hey all! I'm taking the family camping in Humboldt Redwood State Park over Father's Day weekend. Any suggestions on some off road trails I could hit in the area? Nothing too technical since I'll be solo. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Usal Beach would be high on the list. But it's south of where you'll be. You can thread a path through some backroads from Avenue of the Giants to the coast.
Make sure the roads exist first. That place got trashed last winter. We drove up there last month and even some of the paved roads were interesting.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did that trail about 15 years ago and your right it was amazing. I'd love to share that with my family.

I couldn't find any trails within an hour drive of my campsite, but was able to get off the payment a couple times. But it was a beautiful weekend and I had a great time with family and friends
