My wife lost her key and remote for our 2014 Sienna. The dealership wanted $300 for a new key and remote and programming it. I said thanks but no thanks.

Ordered a new immobilizer key and wireless fob from beno for $115 total. It comes pre-cut based on the VIN. Then I bought a Mini-VCI USB cable off Amazon for $25.

The cable came with the Techstream software I used to program the immobilizer code and wireless code. You can also customize lots of settings like seatbelt warning, enable security system, etc.

If anybody local needs to borrow this cable let me know. ;)

Nice work. This is why I keep our second set of keys for the 2010 Sequoia with the code tag locked up at home. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure I can start my 80 with a flathead screwdriver.

i could never get the software installed on PC correctly to make it work :(

Ok just an FYI but I work for a company called the Hillman group, if you've ever bought a bag of bolts are name is probably on it. But we also cut transponder keys at most Lowes, Walmart and Home Depot stores. A Toyota key is 75 bucks, and they are the type of keys with out the unlock, lock, and trunk functions in the key fob. We only cut the exterior cut keys, the fancy Lexus and Audi type keys we don't cut, gotta get those from dealership. But if you loose your keys stop by and see if we have your year available. Most years are but the codes are like a music copy right and Hillman has only purchased the ability to copy the most common keys out there which is about 93% out there. If ya have any questions let me know.

Thanks, Chuck

Gotta install it on an XP machine (or a XP VM). Tech stream is also handy for balancing pressures for those who have a 100 series with AHC. I don't even know where my cable is anymore.
