Extreme Offroaders 2nd Annual Tuff Truck

Winnebago County Fair -- Sunnyview Speedzone, Oshkosh, WI
Sunday, August 15th
CASH PAYOUT: $400, $300, $200, $100, $75, $50, $20 (7-15)
2 Timed runs on the course --- fastest time is counted as your best
Registration for the event will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Driver's meeting at 12:30 p.m.
Racing starts at 1 p.m.!
Pit fee is $20/person and includes entry of one vehicle into the Tuff Truck competition
Grand stand seats are available through the Winnebago County Fair.

2004 Extreme Offroaders Tuff Truck Rules
MECHANICAL
Seat belts must be in working order (5 point recommended)
Front and rear brakes must be functional (working emergency brake recommended)
Fuel lines ran through the passenger compartment of vehicle must be in conduit
Battery must be securely mounted with 2 hold downs (1 solid, 1 back-up)
Minimum 2 throttle return springs
VEHICLE BODY/ ENGINE/ SUSPENSION
Vehicle must have full frame or unibody
Axle swaps will be allowed, but suspension must remain stock to truck
The only suspension modifications allowed are lifts for that make, model, year truck
Added shock absorbing devices are allowed (additional shocks, tennis balls in coil springs, etc.)
DOT approved tires only and can be cut as long as the belts aren’t showing
Added bracing to axles, frame, body, passenger compartment allowed
Removable top vehicles must install a minimum 4 point Roll cage attached to the frame (show bars are NOT acceptable)
REQUIRED OR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Helmet, eye protection, pants, long sleeve shirt, and closed toe shoes are required
Must have a securely mounted fire extinguisher within driver's reach
Driver must be 18 years of age or have parent/legal guardian in the pits at ALL times
Battery must be enclosed if it has been relocated to the passenger compartment
Neck brace highly recommended
Minimum 4 point roll cage highly recommended
Emergency kill switch within reach from outside of vehicle is recommended
Seat and seat belts CAN NOT be connected to the frame (seat and belts must be connected to the roll cage if a roll cage is installed)
