Jumped off the ledge and tossed out the stock IFS in favor of TC's 2" Long Travel kit that just came out a few months ago. This is the little cousin to their 3.5" kit. So here is a video of the installation I wanted to share with everyone. Its up on the blog Total Chaos Long Travel Build

Not so much a how-to as it is an introduction to what it takes to rip and replace your IFS. Hope you enjoy the video.

its not two inches of travel its twelve inches of travel, however the 2inch means its pushing the tires out two more inches.

nice video I cant wait to get my setup done, should be buying the lift end of the month, followed by the SAW coilovers. What size coilovers were used?

2" of travel sucks. However, 2' of travel is nice.
not quite 2 feet but 11.5" of usable travel with this kit. Not bad for pushing everything out 2" on each side.

I have to punt since I don't have that specs handy and don't want to give bad advice... Give Mark or LT a call at Metal Tech. Mark had a long discussion with Sway-A-Way since this was only the second pair they made.

so what did you do with the old SAWs?

I received that question way more than I would have ever thought. I worked out a deal with MT... I let them kept the coil overs and they promised to torque all the bolts down :-)

Sounds like a fair trade to me :)
