I got a torquer cam from man-a-fre and it sais to crown the lifters. Anyone had any experience with this, do's and dont's specs etc.

If you have new lifter you should be good. If you are re-using your old ones they will need to be resurfaced so they don't chew up the new cam. I'm not an expert on this by any means but when I had my cam and lifters redone by Delta in Washington they said with regular resurfacing they would rotate in the bores properly like they should. Maybe Jim from Downey will chime in on this, their catalog mentions this too.

never install a new cam with old lifters.
either get new or have yours reground

the lifter face is very slightly convex
it rotates as the lobe moves under it

if the face is nor new or restored to the proper shape

it will trash the cam

quick
