If you haven't been in the last week, the new TLCA.org website has been released. It's been in the works for a bit and is truely something to behold (That's just my opinion, I may be a little biased as a geek an all). Check it out when you have time, register and feel free to join the Tall Corn Cruisers E-Chapter...hope to see you all there!

I like it! However I can't figure out how to join the e-chapter, and I'm fairly web savvy. I see the TCC e-chapter page, I clicked "join" and it said I had to register, then after not being able to find where I register, I navigated back to the TTC e-chapter page, and the couldn't find the "join" link like before. Did I join? IDK.

Looks great! Nice work.

Looks great. I haven't registered yet, but I will.

Alright, towards the bottom of the page, there is a login dialog (two boxes one above the other) and there should be a Register link...or you can click here

Home of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association - Registration

Once you have filled that out, you'll get an e-mail and then you should be able to login. Once you login, hover your mouse over the Community link at the top and a sub-menu will appear, select E-Chapters from there and you should be good to go.

If ANYONE has any other questions or finds any bugs let me know and I'll run it up to the appropriate folks.

Thanks!

Thanks Art - I'll give that a try when I have a couple minutes.

Well, I joined the e-chapter... The site, albeit cool, is less than user friendly IMO.

How do I update my avatar for the e-chapters?

Craw,

To update your profile pic, or avatar, simply click "Community" in the menu and find your profile entry. It will open up your profile and you can use the EDIT command to upload a new pic.

We will work on a simple tutorial.

I've tried that, and this is all I'm seeing...

I'm obviously missing something here. :frown:

EDIT: I'm using Mozilla's Firefox browser - fyi.

Wow...watching that, the video bites. Okay, so here is what you need to do, logon. Scroll down to your avatar (blank shadow default) and click on it. Scroll down to where you can see your avatar again, hover your mouse over Edit and then click on Edit your image. Here is the KEY...

Your image file can be maximum (width x height - size): 200x500 - 500 KB

So, before you click on Browse to select and image, make sure that the image you are wanting to upload meets those requirements. If you need to resize the image and you use Windows XP download and install this and then right click on the image and select resize and choose Small. Once that is done, Click on the Browse button on the TLCA.org site and then select the image and click Open, then click on Upload and you should be done.

I got it now - thanks.

Not a problem. If anyone else has any problems, please let me know. I'm working very closely with the TLCA webmaster on this in assisting with this launch. (He designed all of it) Anywho, just trying to help out where I can.
