Anyone here running the TJM 17 bumper (no bull bars), or have had it on your rig and care to comment on it's performance/durability vs. Slee and ARB bumpers? Much appreciated.
I used to run a TJM-15 on my 4Runner--I tboned a wagon(his fault) and it put a 12" crease from the very front to the very rear of his car --the TJM suffered a broken screw holding the bumperet on I like the TJM 17 becuase it looks cleaner and you can bolt more lights on than the ARB. The metal is not as heavy as the ARB and the sides are bolted on rather than one piece like the ARB(you could have the side welded)---with that said I think the TJM is plenty strong--I can't decide which one they are both rated at 10k. There is a good chance I will end up t-boning someone else--running lights appears to be part of the culture here. TJM around $450 and the ARB $650 ($730) delivered.
