Hey guys. I posted this with the Florida crew too. I need a title and vin plates from a 1970 or close FJ40. I bought a truck down here from a guy my dad came across one day. He had the truck sitting on the side of his yard and we made a deal. Since the transaction the guy has been harder and harder to get ahold of. I have a bill of sale, but he never transferred the title from the previous owner. I called the DMV in Ohio where it was last registered. They said came up clean and was not reported as stolen. That was good. They can't do anything for me since the title wasn't transferred to the guy I bought it from. If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise I'll be parting out a solid 1970 FJ40. I would rather see it back on the road. Thanks.

You may want to try a title company. I have heard good things about "Broadway Title" from some Bronco guys.

Lost Automobile and Old Car Titles

Here is the link. Its around $300 for their services. I think Belmont has used them. Try sending him a PM.

I'm looking into them this week. Proffitts Cruisers in CO recommended International Title too. Hopefully I can get this taken care of the legit way.

HUH?? Why start now. You have an epiphany or somethin'?? Stop drinkin' Flor de Cana?

Luckily I have plenty of Kalik Golds left over from my Bahamas trip a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure you're doing fine with them as well Jim.

Yep, I used Broadway. Great service, makes me feel better knowing I don't have a possible stolen vin plate on rig after spending so much money on it.
