Coker Tire 643507 - Coker Firestone Vintage Bias Tires - Overview - SummitRacing.com

The FJ25s came with 16" wheels. These are skinny wheels though. 31" tall tires fit easy on my 68 FJ40 with old worn springs and no lift. I would think a tire that is not to wide and not much over 31" should work.

It´s correct, they work, my BJ43 had 16 split rims when I bought it.
My 45 have 16 steel rims both trucks have no lift.
A pic of a 40 with 16 split rims and no lift.

awesome :)

Might look down the road to pick up a spare 16inch splits so i can swap them come winter etc and back in summer ;)

I was driving in some icy snow ( about 4 inches of ice with slush on top ) the other day and it got a little wild with the bias treads in a few spots haha :)

Thanks guys : )

Destin,

Trucks in Aus came with 16inch rims. My 65's are not split but every other one I have seen have standard run of the mill 16inch split rims mounted.

Your 65 would nicer if it had a set of 15" with hub cap clips and hub caps. I would be a nice guy and trade you a set for those old 16" wheels you can't put hub caps on.

Funny how different markets got what. Hub cap clips are rare there and here they never imported them didn't use hub caps until 1981 with the spoke wheels. Looking at my 65 microfiche the other day I see your tail lights listed as Australia market. looks like your the only place in the world that got them. Did anyone ever figure out if they were the same as we got on the FJ45LP-B? If I had a parts book for the FJ45 I could compare part numbers.

...in the mean time, might want to find a spare set of 15's...real winter tires are better sipped, and have a specific rubber compound for winters...I run winter tires on everything I drive during the winter months...always have

Thanks John - your generosity knows no bounds.

I Didn't hear anything further on the tail lights but looking through a few pics they look similar.

I have the Hub Caps, and at some point we are going to have a crack at putting the clips on and if not I'll put them on the 25.

Not sure if Australia is the same as the US that doesn't have parts listings older than 69. If that is the case I couldn't get you the parts number for these if you would like. I know I have been able to get Toyota parts from a dealer because I was able to provide them with the part numbers they didn't have. Last time I checked you could still get the pedal pads for the FJ25.
