Any recommendations for 275 50 R21s? Looks like they really don’t make all terrains for this size. Looking for a set that is also decent in snow, but not a lot of options out there.

Guess I’ll go back to the factory Dunlops worst case.

A quick look at Discount Tire shows only 12 choices - of those, I'd suggest the Michelin Defender LTX as an all around good tire, including Colorado snow.

So I was looking at that one, but it shows as being discontinued.
The LTX M/S is discontinued in favor of the LTX M/S2 - new & improved, etc.

Edit - The same tire in a 20" ( 275/55/20) is about $55 cheaper. There is a set of 13-15 20" wheels on Denver C/L for $300, so something to consider.

I’m in this dilemma now too, the 21’s on it currently (‘16 Lx570) haven’t got much tread left either, need to do something.. I want a comfortable ride, lighter at each corner as much as possible, quiet on the freeway, 98% road and 2% sand driving, and boat launching on sand. So a few options:

1:
I’m leaning towards some standard 18 inch LC rims factory Dunlop's at 285x60x18, both basically new. Picture attached. Not sexy at all, but for the money, pretty good value. Then can put some Falken ATW3 on it at 285x65x18 as soon as these wear out. $1000 for 5 rims and tyres, for now.

2:
A local guy gets these 18 LC rims and powder coats then any color, pictured is the satin black. I was thinking “method bronze” or close to, then the Falkens now. $1400 for 5 rims, $1600 for 5 tyres. Anyone have a photo of these in bronze on any LX?

Or..

Just go hard and put some bronze 17 inch 703 methods on with the Falkens now for 4 x the price! $3,000 for 5 rims and $1,600 for 5 tyres.

What do you all think? Head over heart? Stay with the factory option which is tried and tested?

I had a set of 18" Sequoia wheels in the basement, so I got a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2s. Now I need to get rid of the 21" wheels and tires in basement...

Where are you paying $600 per wheel for Methods?

Australia: where every purchase is almost double USA. Including petrol.

I paid $275 to fill my petrol a couple days back (125l or 33 gallons).

$2.2 a litre, or $8.33 a gallon. Standard here for BP Ultimate petrol which is 98 octane. Probably not needed, but Vader deserves the best haha!

Didn't realize you're in Australia. At least you guys get some cool stuff that we don't get.

Yeah it’s in the market, but NO ONE fits anything to LX570’s over here, and no shops will do it. That’s why I don’t have a proper rack solution yet, or front bar, or snorkel.
