Tire Swing out kit - Canadian made!

Hi,
The Coastal Cruisers know me well and have seen my work. Here is a short introduction for the rest of you, I have done a lot of custom metal work on the side. Right now I am focusing more on that business and am starting to showcase some of the products.

I've designed a universal tire swingout kit for the do-it-yourself guy. Saves you time and work, all you need to do is add 2.5" square tube (I recommend 3/16-1/4" thick depending on the weight and tire size you are going to carry)

In the kit are all the parts in red:

Tire mounting plate is 1/4" thick and has holes for a 5.5 X 6 and X 5 bolt patterns.
All the other components are 3/16" thick.
All steel, CNC Laser cut and bend to specifications.
The upper supports come with additional cut out hooks for extra tie down points.
The tire mounting is on an angle to allow a tighter fit to the truck and more clearance for departure angles.
Comes with all of the parts in red.
Finish is bare metal.
All made locally in Vancouver, BC, Canada!
All you need to do is weld it up.


Complete kit is $110.00, if I can get 10 orders in, I can make it cheaper, so far I got 2 confirmed.

Shipping is going to be a little of a pain, if you're local it would be easier, just as a start. If I get enough demand for this then I can get the pricing down a bit more. If you are out of town I will do the best I can to quote shipping.

Do you have any actual pictures. I assume it can be installed on any vehicle?

I'm making them right now, the laser cutting shop will take a couple days. It can be installed on anything, all you need is to supply your own 2.5X2.5" square tube, any length you need.
The reason I designed this kit is because I was fabricating a lot of it by hand, for some of the custom bumpers I was doing, I found that process very time consuming and no one (at least in Canada) offered anything even close. EMS in the US had a basic kit but none of the gussets.
So I created a stronger, sleeker and universal design that can be adapted to any custom bumper build.
I've got 4 on order right now, there are 2 spoken for.
Once they are made, I will weigh them (for shipping information) and post up photos.
If you guys have a different suggestion for the design, or want something added, let me know, that's the beauty of custom fabrication.

Here are some photos of the products, cut and happy.
I'll post up some pics of it while it is in application and welded to some nice square tube when I do the next swingout.
All of it was set up for 2.5" square (same size as receiver hitch material) to allow any receiver hitch adaptors to be used through the piece in the middle of the tire. That way you can easily have a Jack-all, shovel, or even bike mount, added to the swing out.

Shipping to the US will be around $+-30.00 depending on where specifically. Closer shipment to the Canadian border on the West will be less, further shipments will be a bit more.
