Tire recall Question

My FJ with a build date of 06/06/06. After purchase I was contacted by customer service from the dealership. She asked if I had any questions or concerns. I asked about the tire recall, she said she would look into it and call me back. She called back and said that yes there is a tire recall and that I would recieve a letter from Toyota shortly. My question to anyone on this forum is: Have you gone through this process? If you have was this service performed at the dealership or a tire store? Did they replace old tires with same make and design? Or was it handled like the firestone recall? Also is there a specific build date that this recall affects?

The recall was for some of the earlier trucks - your June truck is probably not affected, my April truck was. I believe it is a ceratain sieral number run. Anyway, it is an issue that happend during mounting and damaged the tire, not a tire problem. Replacement is supposed to be the same type tire by the dealer.
