Sorry if this is a rehash of a previous problem, but it's new to me in the last week.

If I read through a forum, then surf away, either to another forum within Mud or elsewhere on the web, when I return to the original forum, the "NEW" tags revert to some time previous to my recent visit. I have to manually reload to see new posts or threads.

This is independant of XP vs XP SP2, IE 6 or IE 7, and independent of where or what computer I'm using.

I've tried signing out and back in again. It wasn't doing this in November?

I'm terrified I'll miss something important.

it's always been that way....hitting the back button doesn't automatically reset the "new" tags, you have to actually navigate with the links.

I'm not hitting back button. I'm navigating with the links. Promise!

then, no clue...might be something to do with the latest vB version, I am upgrading software pretty aggressively....

no cure for it tho...pretty sure it's operator error ;)

thanks. :D

Nobody else experiencing this?

I used to have a similar problem I would get on mud through a bookmark I have to the 40 section at say 2:00 and then get off, and when I came back , following the bookmark, at say 7:00 none of the threads would have changed and I would hit refresh and then everything was current again.

woody did some upgrades and I haven't had the problem since.

I also got a new hard drive at about the same time the problem disappeared, but that may have been a coincidence.
