Okay CC mudders. No weekend plans? Not 4x4ing or camping? This is totally not 4WD or back country related but...Sunday is supposed to be hot day and what better way to stay cool then drive the Whiterock strip a couple times in cool vehicles then hit the beach or continue on with your day. I'll be driving my BJ42.

And it does not have to be in a LandCruiser. Leader of the pack will be a 1968 matte black Dodge Charger. Any CC members have other cool rides?

Plan is to meet at the A&W around 11:45, chill for a bit then drive the strip from 8th to the end, turn around and drive back. There are no other plans past this.

Have a 4 legged family member? After the Cruise, park in the parking lot beside the WAG and spend the afternoon at dog beach. No dog, but kids? Great way for the kids to stay cool, spending the afternoon digging in the sand and exploring the flats. Tides out at 13:07 so it will be a good afternoon to walk the tide in on the flats or park yourself on the flats and chill. Or sit beside the sidewalk at one of the many restaurants along the strip. Or...Or...Or.

Sounds like fun, can't recommend the WAG more, fantastic restaurant.

Which A&W are we meeting at? 24th Ave and 164th? I hope to be there!

is this an A&W in Surrey? Would be cool to meet a couple fellow cruiser heads. coordinates is different up here!

We are returning from rafting on the Elaho in Squamish. No grizzly chase this week!

Google Maps

As the link above leads, its the one at 2303 King George Boulevard. Have not had many replies but over 90 views so not sure how many are showing, but it's a go...even if its one BJ42 (maybe two?) and the 68 Charger. I've seen lottsa cars cruise the strip over the years so figure it's time to add in a Cruiser.

See those of you who can make it...at the Dub.

Oh, should not be any Grizzlies to worry about in Whiterock. Just Cougars.

Abi and I met up with Greg and Ciaran for cruise down the strip! So, take a guess, who got all the waves, head turns, and all-round attention? Hint, it weren't the two clackety clack diesels pulling up the rear of this convoy! :) Parking was non-existent, so we headed to Crescent Beach for an ice cream stop. Cooler by the water; 37 back in Abi; almost closed the foot vents because the air was that hot coming in.
