Don't know if folks start lining up on Friday, but there certainly is a long line on Saturday morning. Our club would get in line somewhere, and since it's single file, two things happen:
1. You don't start moving for an hour or so.
2. Things get soooo backed up at the obstacles you spend much of the time waiting at each obstacle (like standing in line for a ride at Disneyland)
So what our club did every year is make pretend at first that you are going on their TDS run, then by 10AM-11AM peel off and make your own run, sometimes kinda gnarly because you are not staying on their organized run, so you run into some real s***.
