Are you saying that the pumpkins attracted something that chewed on your wires or am I missing something here?

I've always been attracted to women with nice melons...

Bummer! Was it only that connector? All good now?

I HATE cats, but they are the only thing I have found that will keep rodents away.

Why do you hate cats? They're very nice animals.

He's the kind of dude where a cat has to find him and form an unlikely bond and someone retells the story in motion picture :D

Yeah, that almost happened. I had Miss Ginger, who was my garage kitty that would hang out with me and lived in my garage. I even kept a litter box for her out there. All of a sudden she quit using the box and started doing her business anywhere there was dirt on the floor. After that I didn't care how sweet she was and I evicted her.

My garage doesn't have any mice because the friggin cats bring them in the house to play with them.

Here is the repair. It took a while because I wanted to do it right and was collecting materials.

The wiring is 20 gauge, if anyone is wondering.

Got a $10 heat gun from HF with a coupon.

Cloth wiring harness tape.

I had to make my own depinning tool by grinding down a straight pick with my Dremel.

Here is the EGREGIOUS product page from findpigtails.com for the Y510A5 automotive connector. I guess they think anyone is a sucker.
