No pics/details?

FWIW I was watching for a trailer for a loooong time. Kept finding rusted out, broken down pieces of junk for $400+. So anything that's in decent condition for $250 is likely a pretty good price.

fixed

Geez. That looks like a lot of work.

Someone will prolly buy that for $250, at least the would up here and I imagine it'd be even more likely to go down there. Would I buy it? Well, no, probably not, not for that price and that much rust.

Hard to tell from the pics, but doesn't look like there is much of a frame underneath it.

Could it be fixed up into something useful? Absolutely. But it'll take a lot of time and more than a little money.

IMHO

If the draw bar is any indication of the frame, it will need some reinforcement to ensure no damage is done during off road activities. I think the guy from Angola does a superb job illustrating what may need to be done to this one https://forum.ih8mud.com/trailer-tech/537813-my-chinese-thing.html. I would say you will spend more than the $250 on modifications to get the chassis up to snuff, and then you are looking at the price of other trailers with less work involved.

That being said, if you want the project and the extra work, go for it! I would think there is a half way decent 416 within a couple hours of you just waiting to be pulled out of someone's back yard for cheap.

off topic:
Ebag333 - Love the State of Jefferson reference! My family are Jeffersonians, near Mt. Shasta.

This thing has been beat. The rusted areas on the sides indicate the tires hitting the sides going over things not intended for this trailer. Frame if there is much of one is most likely bent. Really not much of value as far as I can see. Way more work than it is worth just to get it to where you could make something of it.

no it is. ill keep an eye out for another one. thanks guys

I'd give him a case of beer for it. No more.

dude called me the other day asking if i still wanted it. i said no
onto bigger better things. maybe a teardrop project

lol, haul it to the scrap yard. then again, have you seen the "trailers" people bring to the scrap yard?
