Anybody doing anything this weekend?

The :princess: might be busy Saturday some other :princess:'s and I'm itching to get the Cruiser out again.

Maybe a day trip?

If I can swing it, I might be looking to camp somewhere Saturday night.

Anyone know of any good day trip/camping spots around the South Sound area? I've heard people talk about Capitol Forest, any input?

For lack of any other ideas I'm thinking I might cruise back up towards the Carbon River area and do some snow camping.

Yo. Peep my post on South Sound Winter Projects. Do it. Do it now, :censor:!!!

Yeah, Carbon River is looking like the way to go, even if it turns into a winch fest.

Had to pull the trigger on a passport today to the tune of $170 :censor:ing dollars, so long range road trips are on the back burner until the end of the month.

Living on the GI bill sucks...

The good news is that there are plenty of winch points going up that trail. I think Co-play will be pretty easy, just slow. There are plenty of places to camp though. We could celebrate a late St. Patty's day. I need to get a passport myself, but I got a new friend names Charles Lane who is pretty expensive.

Bit late, but I figured I'd throw up a few quick pics of the camp out we went on.

I went out in the afternoon and set up camp. Showed up on the scene to a wonderful array of garbage.

Spent the few first minutes cleaning up.

A-holes...

Cruised down to the end of the pavement and pulled out towards the water for a few shots.

Then back up to camp, got a fire going and fried up some chicken for me and the pooch while we waited for JackZilla.

I stopped taking pics when it got dark, but nothing overly interesting happened afterward, aside from us sitting around the fire in the woods drinking beer until about 0400.

Did up some eggs and kielbasa the next morning, then rolled over to Dain's to check out his lift install.

Didn't do any wheeling, but Evans Creek opens up next week, so look out for a tentative trip up that way over the course of the next few weekends.

So much for pack it in, pack it out I suppose. It was a sweet camp spot though. Look forward to many more weekends there. Going to be a tough spot to get when camping weather gets here.

Overall, I'm 100% positive there's nothing better than food made on the tail gate of a cruiser.

If you don't own a cruiser with a tail gate, I really don't understand how you eat :hillbilly:

Some of the best eggs and kielbasa I've ever had.:grinpimp:
We need to hit Evans Creek up ASAP, so I can get the grill going.
